So, I'm about to finish The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and it's really making me hate people, because I see a lot of Ellsworth Toohey in many different people, specifically people who have a substantial influence on our lives. So I want to read something very much the opposite. I don't want to read something totally the opposite, such as some book supporting Socialism and Toohey. I want to read something that makes you want to love everyone. Anybody got any ideas? I'm hatin' and I need some lovin'.

A book called Red Bird Just Like This will turn you around. It's a brand new novel by Earl Jesse Stevens. It's got that "lightning in a bottle" quality. It's an autobiography of someone you've never heard of who turns out to be someone you love like a brother. Or maybe even something more. I won't ruin it for you by saying anymore.

this is a really simple but cool book that makes you think about everything: The Curious incident of the dog in the night time by Mark Haddon. it's about this autistic boy and it's written from his perspective (first person) so it's really interesting. I can't imagine how the author was able to get such a clear understanding of how these kids think but he has worked with Autistic children so he has had experience with them.
anyway, the book is refreshing, sad, happy, and Curious!
hope you like it!

Wow! Please check out the site below and read a bit of the two books there. You will certainly laugh and laugh some more. You will shed a few tears as well. But you will love the people and that is for sure.
