Just wondering so I don't waste my time watching the 2nd movie if I should watch the first... And I know it's a good movie..

Watch the first before you watch the second for several reasons. First off, the first is a much better movie. While the second is good, the first is AWESOME. It will ruin the moment for you if you've already seen the second. Second, the second movie will make a lot more sense if you've seen the first one already.

I'm a big Pirates of the Carribean fan, but part 2 was bad, I was very disappointed after I watched it. Please watch part 1, forget about part 2. I can't wait for part 3, i wish it's good.

According to the writer's commentary, Dead Man's Chest was written specifically so NOT require viewers to see the first one in order to enjoy it.
Yeah, you'll get more invested in the characters if you watch Curse of the Black Pearl first, but it's not essential to understanding Dead Man's Chest -- except for the monkey.
You won't understand the monkey unless you've seen the Curse of the Black Pearl AND watched the end of the credits.
