Most salt water is in the oceans (or seas). The southern hemisphere has more water area than the northern.
In continents, salt water is found in large lakes with no outlets. Most notably, these are the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the Dead Sea between Jordan and Israel, and many lakes in Africa (like Botswana)

the great Salt Lake in Utah, and you really float in it, and it leaves your skin white with salt. pretty cool. It also has brine shrimp in it.
