In the Matrix, they say thier called the cloning fields, but are they technically clones. they don't all look the same but it could just be a bunch of cloning programs with random figures. would that be considered cloning? cause Morpheous calls them cloning fields but he also says they "grow" them.

they are called cloning feilds because they are grown, not born. however, they don't clone every single person from the same person otherwise they would look all the same. they dont really discuss how many clone subjects were used. my guess is that they were so advanced that they didn't need to keep cloning from parent humans. they broke the DNA code and were able to assemble a clone from a computer program.

the humans arent identical clones but are considered to be because they're all alike. Just soul less things
