I noticed some shady charges on my credit card, and after much searching, found that someone used my CC number along with my real name and address to register a domain. The domain is being used to send out spam and maybe run some kind of overseas pharmacy scam.

The card has been cancelled and I have contacted the registrar in Australia to see if they can help me. Should I be doing anything else to get my name and address removed? I don't want people to think that I am a scam artist. Now I'm so worried, I keep checking the WHOIS. When will it go away? Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks,
Sad&Worried

You've pretty much done everything you can do. Don't hold your breath waiting on the registrar to delete the domains. If the CC charge is charged back to them (likely) they may dump it on their own.
