Are you serious? Is this a serious question? Because seriously, your friend should run to the American Embassy, or whatever country's embassy that she's from! Even if she doesn't have her passport, she can call the citizen's emergency hot line, and report that she was robbed of her passport and that she needs emergency help in getting back to the States (or whatever country she's from). Seriously, traveling people should have this kind of info up their sleeve, in case of emergency. I can't understand how anybody can travel to another country without knowing what to do in case of an emergency or a loss of passport!

there's a loan-place with a phone number you can call, the number is 866-508-0676, or here are some sites: www.govloans.gov, www.lendingtree.com, www.need1000.com, here is the link with all the links i found of the loan places:

also, she could check at banks over there, and an embassy.

i wish you and definetely your friend the best of luck, and hope she gets through this safely. BEST of luck!! :-)

Is she a U.S. citizen? Does she have family over here at all? There should be a way to wire her money...check out Western Union, I am not sure...but I think they can wire world wide. If they can't, they may be able to point you in the direction who can.

Call the Nigerian Ebassy in NY and explain to them what happened. You can also have her contact the Embassy in Nigeria. They actually have one
