if you are very athletic, you may not be getting enough hydration and losing calcium, chloride and potassium along with sodium...very important that you hydrate well before vigorous exercise...
actually, Gatorade(r) was developed for one of those very same reasons...to prevent electrolyte (Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca++) loss.
if you lose some of the more valuable electrolytes, that could be what is causing your muscles to fasiculate (twitch)...
Na+ (sodium) is the most common extracellular cation, and K+ (potassium) is the most abundant intracellular cation.
drink plenty before you play!
the normal intake for any man is 96 to 128 fluid ounces a day, but depending on your activity, (football practice), that could triple so you need to be good to yourself!

Over activity, are you an athlete?
If not ask your doctor, talk to him of your fear of muscle problems.
Maybe a pinched nerve.

I would imagine that it's just that you're growing at a very quick rate right now. Give yourself a little time.....
