To become a better basketball player, you have to work your butt off!! You have to practice really hard, and always challenge yourself to do better. Even if you think that you are as good as you can be! Practice dribbling in your driveway all the time! It seems like you have to be a good shooter to be a good bball player, but thats not true at all. If you are a good at handling the ball, you can go pretty far. Play with people older than you are, when I was in junior high, I was playing w/ high schoolers, and that really helped me out not only w/ my game, but also my confidence level went way up. It showed me wat I am really capable of. The main thing is never give up, even when it seems like it's not goin where you want it 2 go, and keep working hard. Remember perfect practice makes perfect!lol..good luck w/ your basketball!

This Practice Schedule that I have made isn't what you need to do, and even what you're going to do. It's only a guiding principle. It has many matters that you just must train with a view to emerge as a well basketball participant. First off, I desire to inform you to be very constructive. Basketball is a particularly a laugh game, and I adore it. The factor is, you particularly need to adore it, and also you particularly need to train plenty to be victorious within the sport. Interpret the agenda as you prefer. one million. Warm-ups (10 mins or much less): - Stretching - Loosening up, so you do not get injured as with ease - Do a form of stretches - Arm stretches, leg stretches.... two. Running (five mins or much less): - Quick jog - Don't run too tough - This could also be for loosening up three. Dribbling: - Dribble along with your finger pads, now not hands - Don't dribble too prime, as much as the waist is superb - Don't have the ball be too some distance clear of you - Always LOOK UP while you dribble - Do a few dribbling drills (Run at the same time dribbling at the same time maintaining your head up) - four. Passing: - Again, do not have your hands at the ball while you move - Take a step ahead along with your more potent foot (correct if you are a righty, left if a leftie) and move - Practice all the specific passes (soar move, chest move) - Bounce move: Make definite the ball hits the ground two/three among you and the opposite individual, and that the ball lands on the different individual's waist or above - Chest move: Make definite that the ball is going to the individual's chest, now not too low and now not too prime five. Shooting: - Make definite you're rectangular to the basket 6. Defense: Practice dribbling, passing, capturing, and protection plenty. Those are very principal. keep in mind to hold in form!! Good success. Practice foul pictures like loopy. These are very principal.

Yup! Practice makes perfect. Practice by yourself and with others. Better if you join a club so you can get into scheduled regular matches. That's the real battle! Plus load yourself with information concerning basketball such as what makes great players great. You can browse in internet, subscribe to sport magazines or bulletins, watch videos of good matches so you can learn about good strategy, and spare your time to discuss what you learn and ask what you don't know yet with people who understand basketball such as your own coach.

I see some players run around the block, dribbling the basketball. If you try not to look at the ball, but look straight ahead, this is good practice.

play as much as you can and study other peoples games and have your friends study yours and help you get better and watch college and high school games and womens games because they play more fundamental than the nba. and once you have gotten your fundamentals down you can try tricks and other stuff but know your limits and practice on your game as much as you can
