There are literally thousands of books on Mythology. If you do not wish to buy one or to get it from the library you can google it.
Edith Hamilton's Greek Mythology is an excellent source and available in paperback.

if you want general information your best bet is probably wikipedia. just search for 'greek mythology', 'ancient egypt', 'ancient rome' or whetever.

at the bottom of the article you should find links to other resources.
