My ex boyfriend,Has not contacted me at all! I should be happy and I am because I never ever want to be with him again. But a part of me wonders why doesn't he care...Does he still think about me the way I think about him?

If he doesn't think about you now, he might in a few days or weeks. Sometimes the old cliche holds true...absence makes the heart grow fonder. But, it sounds like from your post that he was bad news, and you are glad that relationship is over. Even if the relationship was bad, he was a part of your life and it'll probably take some time to heal. Someone once told me that for however long you were in the relationship, that's how long it could take to heal. I don't know if this is scientific, but any case you'll need to give yourself some time. Meanwhile, enjoy life....do something that you couldn't do when you were with him because it :"wasn't his thing"....I took a week-long vacation to Myrtle Beach after my break-up...very liberating!! Or you could go out to dinner with some girlfriends, buy a new outfit, or get a new haircut. Hang in there, girl.

I am sure your ex boyfriend cares for you still but you both broke up and he is going on with his life just like you. It takes times to heal after breaking up and the longer the relationship lasted could mean longer time to heal. The best thing for healing is to forgive others, wish them the best, and move on to a happier life.

your not really over him yet, and it is often harder for women to let go than men. we do wonder if they think about us, but apparently not enough to do anything about it. best to just leave it alone, u split up with him for a reason and looking back into the past, trying to make sense of it just keeps us attached to him. we just don't want to let go, and we need to for our own good. as we can't quite move on if we are thinking about him, and why he didn't care the way we did. men tend to stuff their feelings deep inside, and not show them.

Depends , did he break up with u or did u break up with him..
If u broke it off with him he probably does think about u from time to time.. but feels that ur the one that doesnt want him so why torture himself with calling u.. especially knowing u feel the way u do about him..
If he broke up with u , im sure he thinks about u, but its not the same way your thinking about him.. if he broke up with u then he's moving on and leaving the past in the past..
And for someone that doesnt ever want to be with him again.. u sure arent actting like it, most people that dont want to be with someone, dont start talking about why isnt he calling me, why isnt he worried about me etc.. so talk urself into not wanting him again but i have a feeling if he did call.. u'd jump through hoops to get him back...

Probaby, he isn't thinking about you at all, but that's just the way a lot of men are. But I think you still have some feelings for this guy you aren't admitting to yourself. Face them, then deal with them, and then move on. He has.

You say in one sentence that you don't care, but in the next, you say you still think about him. Why don't you just admit that you're not over him? The only thing you're accomplishing is the contradiction of your own words. Forget him and move on.
