There was an issue of DC Comics where they raced, and i believe Flash won.
Of course, on the other hand, Superman can throw Flash into outer space, if Flash pissed him off enough. I dont see Flash doing that to Big Blue.
ALSO- if you seen "Smallville" there is this episode where there was this white collar thief who had incredible speed and had a symbol the flash, even faster than clark, then after the story is about to end, the guy challege clark to see if he could catch him. so they both ran lightning speed but as clark about to reach him, the guy just turned around, look at clark while running backwards at sped off. clark could not catch him. so maybe flash is faster. In addition, in smallville, it is addmitted that Flash is faster this season in the previous episode.

At the companies, they tend to give the title of World's _____ to whomever has only that power. Superman has super-speed, but since Flash only has Super-Speed, they decided to make him more notable. Or they purposefully weaken a particular power to make it work. Like making Superman only second rate compared to Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, or Bart Allen. It's like why the Hulk is the strongest physically at Marvel. Thor, Hercules, Wonder Man, Colossus, and The Thing are pretty tough, but since the Hulk is billed as the strongest, they get pushed back strength wise.

Superman is only as fast as a speeding bullet. The Flash can run backwards and forwards in time, so I'm going with the Flash.

There have been comics on it, in which Superman is not allowed to fly. In that case it came out to a tie, but that was a long time ago. Flash is supposed to be "The Fastest Man Alive", and he is the one who can supposedly vibrate his molecules so fast he can travel to another dimension. Except for Silver Surfer, who has speed enough to escape an event horizon, there is no other hero who can match his speed. Of course with Supes, he is limited to those systems that don't have a red sun. the surfer has no such limitation, unless it is imposed by Galactus. Superman is very strong and he has any super powers. The Flash is meant to be fast. That is basically his only good power. Therefore, it is his main thing and he is better at it.

flash. superman is so called an "all-rounder". he is super in almost any way, but flash, on the other hand, his super power is being fast. so let me ask you, is an all-rounder, or a specialist, better at doing a certain thing?
