www.cnn.com/video/player
on the CNN website, when i click on the video part of the news, a new window for the CNN video pops opens but it only shows the content and a blank screen is also displayed where the video usually plays but the video doesnt play.
Is it my Norton or any popblockers or the internet connection speed?But the Videos on the BBCWORLDNEWS do play well and so does videos on googlevideo, youtube.
can anyone suggest or help me to get the CNN video to play on my laptop

I have the same problem on my computer. But when I turned off Internet Security, the video worked. So somehow you have to configure the Norton settings. But I have no idea what to do there, so somebody out there please help us!

Try adding them to your trusted sites in your internet options >security in your control panel ..I think it is because of activeX.
You may also want to make sure you you have the most current activeX from microsoft.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx?displaylang=en
Also some of those run on java I'm unsure which CNN uses as I've I never gone there

it's the connection speed. check your media player connection speed.
