The "devil" was once an angel named "bringer of light", "morning star", or "Lightgiver"; all of which are acceptable translations of the name "Lucifer". However after the rebellion he is referered to as "Satan" (actually "Ha Satan") a ancient word simply meaning advisary or the advisary. These are the only known true names. However throughout history and cultures there have been many. Keeping this in mind do you know God's mame is never mentioned? It was passed only by word of mouth from Rabbi to Rabbi, considered to powerful for mortal lips... Even Jesus was historicly named Yahashua, and referred to in the bible also as Emmanuel. I say consentrate on the message and not so much on the messenger..

Whatever your religion decides it is. That is the devils name.
I don't do religion, I believe in good and kind acts, but I do not believe that a man should ask for a paycheck to tell me once a week how I am living wrong.
The real name of The Evil is Humans that profit from Religion.

Why don't you go to him and ask. Just take Dante's route and have Virgil be your guide. No, seriously, is that your question?
Sigh.
The Devil has many names
If you read Paradise Lost, he was called Lucifer(the "morning star") in Heaven after the Fall, he calls himself Satan ("adversary"). Other sources call him Mephistoles, Beelzebub, Old Scratch, etc.

If by the Devil you mean the chief demon, then his name is Lucifer, the Angel of Light.
Satan is a Hebrew word that means "enemy." Beelzebub was a Philistine demon/deity also known as "Ba'al."

It depends on your religion or beliefs, if you believe in bible then according to it as an angel it would be Lucifer. Although some called him Beelzebub (I don't remember how it is spelled) the 'Prince of Darkness'.
