Yes I am a Medical Assistant by work trade (my MA course was 6 months cost was less than $2,000) and I'm a college student pre-med concentration bachelors degree. My goal is to eventually become a Medical Doctor. And it beats working in fast food, retail etc. and I am gaining work experience as a Medical Assistant in the Medical Doctors office.

Some offices will train you right in the office. Others require you to take courses which are usually available at a technical school. Start looking for job postings and call to see if they will train on the job.

Create your resume. dont lie, but you can exagerate a bit. However, i would suggest practicing your typing skills online. there are several places you can search for FREE Typing Test .. search on google.com or even yahoo.com

Once you have that down.. practice practice practice. Get your wpm (words per minute) number higher and higher. Practice answering phones, talk and act professional. When you go on your interview.. bring a resume, ask them if you can take a typing test --blow them away with your test results! Act professional, but dont act desperate for the job. Be confident. Be the first to put your hand out and shake their hands! Smile, make constant eye contact. Express how them hiring you would be a great asset to the company and vise versa. You dont have to be experienced.. you just have to be professional. Its all about the interview. Most the time, if you keep talking and you keep them interested..and eyes all on you during the entire interview.. they wont even look at your resume because they are so blown away .. you just sold them your best product...You.

Ace the interview. thats all you really need to do.
believe me.. ive had many great jobs!! and i havent been to college and ive even opened up my own businesses. it works.. trust me. be confident!! Good luck!

You're so arrogant Jordan. Not everyone can be like you. See, not everyone has rich parents. With your arrogance you have to have rich parents. Oh, and this is coming from a junior in college by the way so I have room to talk.
