It IS possible that chicken pox can progress into something that will leave him sterile -- but it's more likely in adults.
The Chicken Pox virus can come back in the form of "Shingles", something very similar, but somewhat worse than actual Chicken Pox. Though the risk of sterility is low, it is possible.
That is why when adults get Chicken Pox it is often suggested that they see a doctor.

Actually men that get Chicken Pox can have problems. It is actually more dangerous for adults to get them than it is for children.

No I think that you are thinking about mumps. Chicken pox is a virus and I don't think that it makes men infertile but check with Dr. but I don't think so.
