I dreamt of a dragon swimming in a lake. At first I thought it was an eel, but it was really long and in the dream I realized it was a dragon. Kind of an unusual dream for me. I normally dream about situations that are similar to real life. Anything significant about dreaming about a dragon?

Swimming signified the Dragon's freedom and it's ability to be invisible. If you dreamed of a Dragon, chances are it was the Dragon letting you know it is watching over you and protecting you.

Dragon

To see a dragon in your dream, signifies that you tend to let yourself get carried away by your passion. This kind of behavior may lead you into trouble. You need to exercise some self-control.

In the eastern cultures, dragons are seen as spiritual creatures symbolizing good luck and fortune.

To dream that you are a dragon and breathing fire and everyone, suggests that you are using your anger to get your own way.

uh......its biblical. A beast rising out of the ocean !? It could be the endtime beast power, if it was swimming around, it probably meant that it was getting ready to rise and form into that power.
meaning political stuff taking place in a certain end time church and government !
Could be that you had one of these !! I have comed to realize, that both sexes are doing this. Dreaming, prophesying, etc.

Ac 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Ac 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Ac 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Ac 2:19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

The parts of your sexual drive or feelings that are untamed and fiery. The dragon can also represent the power and magic of the unconscious. But to get the 'gold' or treasure you have to deal with those wild forces within yourself.

You pathetic hairless mutants and your yapping about dreams and what does it mean? Phooey! I dreamed i bit a lion's tail off last night and when i woke up i found a lion's tail. Meaning? Hell, you tell me and we will chat it up. Just an old bloody lion's tail who cares. Now did you see any dragon tracks around your bed? Was your bed even wet. Hell no. You just had a dream. Only you hairless mutants worry about such things. Have a banana and go for a long walk.

Quit smoking in bed. Keep a large glass of water on your nightstand in case your mattress starts smouldering....okay okay....you are the only one that knows the meaning of your dream. We all use symbols differently. A dream about a snake might mean transformation to one person, evil to the next...ask yourself what a dragon symbolizes to you.

There's a category for dream interpretations. I think it's under the social science category.
