You can buy a humidifier and use it during the heating season; some even say a pan of water on top of the radiator will put moisture into the air.

You can put wet towels or pans of water on the radiators. The heat from the radiators will make the water evaporate and humidify the room.

If you decide to get a humidifier, make sure you get one that boils the water. Other types of humidifiers, like ultra-sonic, can create a very fine dust, which can be harmful to your lungs.

Check your hardware store for a hanging unit that is the shape of the radiator and you fill it with water. If you can afford it, a humidifier is the best though.

Put containers of water on top of the radiators. The heat will cause the water to evaporate, adding humidity to the air.

yOU CAN GET A HUMIDIFIER.
yOU CAN FIND THAM AT wAL-MART OR SEARCH FOR GOOD ONES ON THE NET, IF YOU DON'T MIND THE PRICE.
aLTERNATIV ALTERNATIVELY, SET A PAN OF WATER ON YOUR RADIATOR OR ON YOUR STOVE AND PUT YOUR STOVE ON LOW HEAT.
yOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE WATER IN BOTH THE PAN AND H HUMIDIFIER, SO IT DOES NOT GET OLD AND STALE.
aNYWAY OF CREATING STEAM IS ALSO HELPFUL.

Get you a Humidifier. One large enough for the square footage in your home. It will help your health alot. You can buy a good one at Walmart, at a reasonable price.

You need to buy a humidifier. There is nothing you can do to the radiators and please don't try, messing with them is very dangerous.
