I live in Florida and they call them Palmetto bugs here. They can live outside, under the leaves. So, when I water my plants, it soaks the ground which drives the bugs up and out and there waiting in the twigs are the little lizards. The little lizards will follow the water and me with the hose to get the bugs. They take care of them, I don't have to do a thing.

If you have a pellet gun they work great and no you don't need to use any pellets or BBs just the blast of air blows them apart. Which make me happy , but also a small mess. Just go "hunting at what you find the best time. Your aim does not need to be pin point but you do need to be close and it is Very Fun if you hate roaches like I do. Your wife or girlfriend may or may not want to watch and she might not like the little mess it makes , but it's so much fun even I don't mind cleaning up afterall cleaning up after dead roaches is more fun than cleaning up after live roaches. Also something I learned long ago is how to kill flies , but you have to wait until they become lands. Just take a couple of long rubber bands, tie them together end to end until you have about 6 inches now tie a few knots on the end. When they land it's easier than you may think to end their miserable lives quickly with just one shot. I use to work at a place that had quite a few flies so someone started a contest to see who could kill the most flies. Using my method everyone else soon gave up trying to beat me. With just a little practice I became The champion fly killer, I'm still quite proud even though it's been decades

Dude, I sh*t you not. One time me and my friend were outside... and there was a couple of the big roaches. We thought it would be funny to step on them. After a while, a bunch of them were attacking us. I think they give off a certain stench that makes them mad or something cuz it was crazy.

not for fun i think they are gross but my weapon of choice is hair spray.
