It is quite possible that you are pregnant and your hcg (pregnancy hormone) levels aren't high enough to detect just yet. If you are using an over the counter test, buy another one in one week and then test again. If you have to know sooner ask your doctor to do a blood test.

Could be an ovarian cyst. I had 2 on one of my ovaries and didn't have a period for 3 months. As soon as the cysts went away (on their own), everything went back to normal.
