Whomever you talk to, whether it be your Mom, Step-Dad, counselor at school, or you pastor, make sure you know them and trust them. Your body is going thru changes and you need to talk to someone you can be very comfortable with.

I would love to say they will come to you but that is probably not so. I am the mother of two girls and It is really hard to know when and what to say to your children. Parents feel like they don't want to tell you too much before you need to know or want to know and also we are told that you will ask, sooooo you may need to go to your dad and to your mom. Maybe at different times and don't be surprised if they react differently and don't know what to say...you didn't come with a manual. So, you may want to go to an adult that you respect and know who is a person that you are also comfortanble with too. Someone that has values, life experience and that you trust, a family member, clergy, school councelor or an uncle...whatever you do always remember that sex is a huge thing, not a small thing. Always respect women...never use them or disrespect yourself by disrespecting them. Sex is more that an act, it is emotions and it is life changing and it is special when it is between two people that are ready and who love and care for each other. That is a truth that I will tell you. So, remember that always. When you don't respect yourself you don't respect others and vice versa. Good luck.

i also just started puberty. im only about 12. your step father (if he has seen you lately) probaly knows u r already having puberty. So, that might help u make the choice of talking to him about it. If u want to show them on purpose without them knowing, you should stretch your arms out so they can see hair under your armpits. Maybe you have grown taller. Zits on face. mabey pull on your shirt by it's collar so they can see chest hair. Thats all I can think of at the moment. You can look on the internet and type down questions.

Me? I absolutely did nothing. I have a mom and dad, and once you hit puberty, people notice. Oh yeah. The hair, your deep voice, OTHER hairy places, muslce growth, growing taller, OTHER places growing, and you are physically capable of being a father. Once people like my dad saw this, he really didn't do anything about it, because we had this Sex Ed day at school and it taught us everything you need to know and all. You don't need tog got to anybody, unless there's some things you like to talk about in that particular subject.

Go to both. Your mother will help you with questions about girls. The best advice about females is from one who has been one a long time. Your stepfather can tell you about male issues. You will probably be more comfortable talking to a male about your body changes.

ahh yes "the talk" -- both your mom and step-dad are probably equally knowledgable on the subject -- go to whom you feel most comfortable with -- i went to my mom. don't be afraid it's natural to want to know the facts, better to know whats true then to hear your buddies (who don't know) tell you lies.

keep in mind that virginity is one of the things in life that you cannot buy, much like a blooming orchard. everyone is special remember that, and know that being a virgin can be over with the snap of your fingers. as you grow up you will find that most of things that worthwhile are not easy to accomplish. good luck

There are sites on the Internet you can go to, Tony, so you don't have to ask questions that you may consider embarrassing. Just look under puberty.

It depends on your parents personality. If you have a good relationship with your stepdad you can ask him . Or if your relationship with your mother is better than ask her . You are very wise to choose this way instead of learning in the street. Good luck in your future

Be confident, go to them if you need to. Or use the internet to your advantage. I have provided a link for you to read up on.. Might answer some of the possible questions. Hard to say, because I'm a girl.
