I know how you feel but you are a freshman right? I'm a sophmore and at our age guys are just too much touble than they are worth. At least start making alist of options of guys who you could possibly see as boyfriend material for you. Don't just jump out there really think if you want a boyfriend don't let your hormones do the thinking. I say this because i want a boyfriend to because I have emotional problems and I want someone who isn't a parental fiugure to comfort me. But I'm not willing to risk being in an abusive relation ship , or in a relationship just for sex just because I want a boyfriend. Find what you like first

Why? Because your relationship with your parents is forever; a relationship with some boy at your age will not be forever. It just won't. No matter how many romantic notions you have about it. He's not interested in anything long-term. Which means that if you ignore their wishes, you are not only harming your relationship with them (by being dishonest and untrustworthy) but are doing so for inevitable heartbreak.

What I dont understand is... you wrote a nasty comment on my question about abortion, and also saying "Ive had an abortion, dont do it", And now you saying you arent allowed to have a boyfriend?? Whats wrong with you people.. Does it make you feel better to lie to someone to get your pathetic point across?? well i'm 13 and my mom doesn't care that i date as long as i keep my grades up in school and that i'm on b/c because every one makes mistakes but anyhow my dad hate the tought of me dating adn when i started dating my first boyfriend that i was really crazy about and that was my first true love i just walked up to him asked him to sit at the table adn we talked about it adn why he dosen't like me dating and i left him meet shane one day and him and shane hit it off realy good and all i had to do was tell him where we were going who all wa going to be with us and he was happy as long as every time shane and i did something together we weren't alone then it worked out pretty good until i got pregnant while on b/c and shane and i split but just sit down adn talk with your parents and make some ground rules with them adn let them make some with you and if that dosen't work then i would just wait until they say that you can date what ever the magical age for you is mine was to be 16 but i was 12 when i started dating shane and now i'm almost 14 and in only my second relationship in 2 years oh and try to keep the relationships long most parents don't like their kids switching boyfriedns ever week lol jk about the every week but you kow what i mean

LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS. MOST KNOW WHAT IS BEST AND YOU BEING 14 YOU SHOULD BE ENJOYING YOUR CHILDHOOD AND NOT TRYING TO GROW UP SO FAST. I DID THAT (GROW UP FAST) AND BELIEVE ME IT IS BETTER BEING A CHILD. THIS IS NOT TO SAY YOU ARE IMMATURE BUT YOUNG AND MY ADVICE IS NOT TO RUSH THINGS. ONCE YOU START DOWN THAT ROAD THINGS GET MUCH MORE COMPLICATED. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF TIME FOR THAT IS A COUPLE YEARS.

I'm 17, and my mom knows that I date since thirteen, she even knows the guys personally, but unfortunately not all parents agree that their children date during their adolescence.
