It is probable that any serious candidate will have to articulate some kind of plan for Iraq -- Biden already has one -- however, a year from now the situation may be different than it is now, so it may be a little premature to do so at the moment.
As far as how many will run, well Biden, Dodd, Clinton, Richardson, Edwards and Richardson, Obama
have set up exploratories, but it's likely one or two will drop out before the primaries - so maybe five by primary time, and of course, ultimately one.

Ya know - Bush should really do something about Iraq,
since he started it. I mean, geez, most of the terrorists
were from Saudi Arabia - so I think Bush is the one who
should be held accountable to fixing his mess.
The Democrats are working on his other mess -
Debt in America - because they care about the people
living in this country.

Oh so you too think Bush's Plan will fail. Seeing as we are going to be at war until 2040. Guess the plan they have about getting out of there is not a bad one. At least 5 of them if not more.
