I was listening to my local radio and heard a song with lyrics along the lines of 'We're driving through the rush hour', but as I was driving, I couldn't write the lyrics down and was out of the car when they must have said who it was by. I really liked the song and would really appreciate if anyone could give me the artist and any more lyrics.

If it is a female singer then it could be one of the X Go-Go's singer, Jane Wiedlin and the song would be "Rush Hour". Try that out and good luck.
