Why don't you put those numbers in words and then see which is correct and which is not?
21st is "Twenty first" and 21th is "Twenty Oneth"
I don't know 'bout you, but not one the English speaking people I've come across in my entire life have EVER said "Twenty oneth." :)

Depends how and why you say it. If you could just as easily say "people" or "person" then that's best. If you need to identify them, then "homosexual" or "gay" or "lesbian". Of course if you use those terms derisively, then that won't go down well. If you're friendly with them and they don't mind having the piss taken, then in the right context depending on the person (disclaimer...) you could refer to them using some of the other phrases, and they may or may not mind.
