Question

Democrats warn Bush not to attack Iran. so if they attack US troops, then Bush needs permission from democrats to reply. please, even if you dont like pres Bush, just try to be realistic.

Democrats talk about this being another Vietnam, but if they tie the military's hands when it comes to pursuing terrorists across country lines, then that's exactly what they're setting up. Terrorists can strike, then jump over the border and be safe. Works for them - sucks for everyone else. And sounds horribly familiar.

Iran isn't sensible, or they'd be pursuing free trade agreements with the U.S. instead of threatening us. Free trade agreements with the U.S. have benefited most of the globe - Iran could become very wealthy very quickly if they'd take that route, but they're so nuts about Israel, they'll pull about any stupid stunt, including firing on American targets as they see us as an Israeli ally.

And I can't blame Israel for taking steps to protect itself. If a country had the capacity and had voiced the intention of blowing up every major city in the U.S. (Israel only has a few large cities and it's not very large, so hitting them all at once is possible) I think we'd be a little upset too. Or at least I hope we would!

the issue that Kennedy and the Russians faced over Cuba.

well...first of all Iran would never attack to USA first(unless the president goes insane which he has gone several times)at least if they think logicly they won't. so there is only one other option that remains:USa attacking. and i think with what Bush did in Iraq democrates have a right to ask him to think more about it.
