As i showered today i noticed some Red Bumps that felt a lot like pimples! They hurt when i touched them! they dont itch or anything just sometimes hurt! Does anyone know what this might be and how i can remove it???The red bumps seem to be at the roots of some hairs! I plucked one and it started bleeding a little!

These are common ingrown hairs. You'll need to sterilize a pair of tweezers with some rubbing alcohol and pull the hair out of the bumps so it can grow freely (don't pluck it out). It will hurt, but it will hurt more if you neglect it and let it get infected. The lesions will begin to heal quickly, just keep the area clean.

if it's at the base of a long existing hair folicle, it's because the hair folicle has gotten oil around it and become clogged. If you were doing something athletic recently where you sweat a lot that could be the reason. I would suggest you trim your pubic hair down, wash it regularly and scrub it while soaking in a hot bath. Shampoo and conditioner on your pubes is not a bad idea either.

Are you sexually active? Do they look like little blisters? Are they located only on the mons (the pubic bone where most of the pubic hair is)? Do you have any on the labia (lips of the vagina) or inside the thighs? Have you had sex in the last 2 - 10 days?

That sounds like ingrown hairs, so just exfoliate gently with a washcloth. The other possiblity is an std, but if that doesn't seem likely then I wouldn't worry.

It could be the type of soap that you are using. You may have an irratation. Or they can be ingrown hairs. See a doctor or ask you mom.

I agree that does sound like ingrown hairs. Next time if you shave you should get ten skin it's sold at sephora and works wonders so you don't get ingrown hairs.

they're most likely just ingrown hairs, or possibly razor burn if you shave that area. either way its normal, especially if you've sweat or had sex recently.
if they don't go away or get worse, check your doctor.
