I'm a telemarketer & want to know how do I get the phone numbers for hospital rooms patients recover in?

I'm a successful telemarketer & am always looking for way to increase my sales. Then it hit me - call the people lying in hospital beds recovering from injury, illness, surgery, etc. It is not like they are busy or going anywhere so are more likely to listen to my sales pitch. Furthermore, have nothing to do and will be eager to hear about (and more importantly) buy my product. This is an untapped market and I see nothing but increased sales. Can anyone tell me how I get the phone numbers for these hospital recovery rooms?

Now, if this were a real question I would tell you that a real telemarketer (I used to work as one for 6 horrible weeks) does not get a choice of what telephone numbers they call. The telephone numbers are generated by a computer which cross references the Do-Not-Call registry. So, if you were a real questioner you would already know this and know this is stupid.

BTW - to your "I slightly shoved a person in a wheelchair ... why am I the bad guy" question. You never got a correct answer. The reason you are the bad guy is obviously that it is your nature to be a jerk.

Dude, you're a vulture. Come on, let the sick heal in peace. Look elsewhere. Do you really think that someone recovering from gunshot wounds or coming out of a coma is eager to buy your product? They have other things on their minds, like the brush with death they just experienced. Maybe there is a reason why those numbers arent available to the public. Leave them alone.

Congratulations, you have just reached a low that I thought could never be reached, you are worse than an ambulance chasing lawyer. I am a registered nurse. If I thought that you could actually do this I would be concerned but you can't. Tell you what; stick to calling people who have the physical ability to tell you exactly where you can stick your product.

Look, someone that is in the hospital dying of cancer does NOT want to buy your product. Someone in the hospital after having a baby that died does NOT want to buy your product. Someone in the hospital having a leg amputated does NOT!!!!! want to buy your stupid product. And besides all of that, I'm quite sure there's some kind of law against that.

Maybe you should go to Courtesy classes and see if THEY want to buy your product!

I don't think you can directly dial them. I believe you have to dial the hospital main number and go through the operator or have an extension.
