I do I do! I mostly use fuzzi bunz http://www.fuzzibunz.com/
I've been cloth diapering for over a year. I haven't had my son in disposables since. It's so easy once you get into a routine. I wash every other day. I also have travelled down the country 3x with no problems or leaks. My husband-who is so not a hippy-even changed the diapers. We've kind of become "diaper snobs", I can't imagine going back to disposables.
For others who don't use cloth, I really suggest checking out the facts at http://www.realdiaperassociation.org/

I think it's way easier than disposables, if I run out of diapers, I simply wash them (didn't notice a change in the electric bill either), instead of running to walmart. In the summer I hang dry them to conserve energy, which I do with the other laundry too.

Many people still use cloth diapers. I was actually considering using them for my baby when he's born in June. There are pro's and con's. While they can be less expensive than buying diapers weekly, you also have to wash them every few days with hot water (and you know how expensive utility bills are nowadays!) But I think they'll be worth it....they aren't the same cloth diapers our grandparents used. Some actually look like disposables. Apparently, Fuzzibunz are the most popular brand and many mothers are happy with cloth diapers. Try the search engine for "cloth diapers" and they'll be so much more helpful than a first time mother still wondering if she should use them!

YES! And they are not the same as the ones your mother and grandmother used. They are wonderful, affordable, environmentally friendly and much better for your baby's tush. You don't need to use diaper pins and there are different options based on how much you want to spend. Personally I use prefolds w/ covers at home, and pocket diapers for short trips (disposables for long trips... I'm not that much of a fanatic!) There are so many options I can't even begin to explain here. Check out sites like www.babycottonbottoms.com , www.sunshinediapers.com , or just type in "cloth diapers" and you'll be surprised!

Cloth diapers are MAINLY a thing of the past. However, if your baby has one case of diaper rash after another; sometimes cloth diapers are the way to go!!! My daughter had problems this way, however; I found that sticking to PAMPERS in particular, seemed to solve this problem. As certain brands of diapers have perfumes or dyes in them!!

You can try different brands of diapers until you find one that works for your baby!!! And change the diapers more often!!

YES!

I have a lifetime supply of diapers for all my children that cost me less than $60 US.

they are easy to use (fold into thirds and put into the wool cover)

they are easy and cheap to clean (put 2 doz dirty diapers into washer just like regular laundry... no rinsing, no bleaching... just the normal wash cycle then the normal dryer cycle. cost? $1 a load)

I don't, but I know people still do. It's cheaper, but so much easier to use disposable. I always thought it would be more comfortable for the baby.
