Did God created the world? Did we evolve from apes? Did something else happen? I'm kinda on the fence.

The Big Bang organized the permanent existance of energy and mass into the condition that we now enjoy as our universe. The permanence of energy and mass is as feasible as the permanence many claim for God, and unlike God, matches our physical observations.

Evolution led the existance of humans and apes, who both evolved from a common ancestor. (We didn't evolve from apes, any more than apes evolved from humans). But then, we also have a common ancestor (though further back in the family tree) in the lowly single-cell amoeba.

The Big Bang. After that things started to form together and we evolved. The universe is so, so, so old but most of the religions make a mockery of this fact, another reason why I hold no love for religion.

I often hear from the religious that the big bang and evolution are merely theories and hold as much weight as the idea of creationism. But I don't and will never buy that.

Boy, are you guys ever in for a surprise!

No for real. Where did the week cycle come from? Anyone know? I mean the moon does the months, the sun does the days, the stars do the years, where did the week come from? Well since this is Someone elses question spot, I'll answer it for you. Genisis Chapter 1 and 2 tell you where the week cycle come from. God created the world in six days, all the awesome animals, birds, fishes, and then for His crowning work He created man.

The cool thing is, He was so happy with the creation He took a whole day, the final and seventh day of creation, He took that whole day off to rest from His work, and to spend with the Man and Woman He had created, to show them everything He had created just for them.

And so it continues on to this day, He still wants to spend time with us... ain't it grand?

There is always going to be people who think they were created by god or the universe evolving. To me, I believe in god and that he created the world but since I always wondered, I always thought of it in different perspectives. This question will probably never be answered to say the truth.

Remember as far back as you can. There is an analogy spelled out in all wise teachings...How was the world created? First there was darkness, void, then light. Remember far back, reach way back. What does that reveal? We all have this memory. And the analogy holds true throughout space and time, physical and metaphysical. We all share the boundlessness of our self awareness, and will always reach towards new areas of abstraction, gifts of consciousness. Do you remember how the world was created?

Come down of your fence and into the real world. Myth can never take the place of evidence.
