Someone who is plausible, someone you trusted, who will betray and use you and yours for their own agenda in other words a best friend or nowadays a work colleague who will take credit for your work or ideas, who also can start a whispering campaign against your character (look at politicians for example) which makes the betrayal all the more hurtful and harder to pinpoint because if found out they will deny anything and everything and blame it on being misunderstood by anybody and everybody.

Someone is called a 'Judas' if he's a traitor. Someone who turns against a friend especially in a tight situation.
