It was a year when things were happening. Unlike now, like it or not, people were moving toward something. Today people seem lost.

music they sang: not moan,talk and curse.
still had most freedoms (unborn still weren't massacred)
Being a christian or minister was respected.
children could go to store,ride bikes,play outside,go to school without much worry.
TV never showed the garbage on tv today.
could drive without seat belts,insurance,(could load a crowd into a car to watch a movie at the drive-in movie.
Kids were disciplined at home and at school.
Politicians never would dream of telling people they had to accept homosexuality.
A job was easier to find and people could lve on their income.
Etc.Etc.

I will say that I don't recall much from '72 because I was only 3 years old. I will say though, that it was a banner year for me because my little sister was born that year.

The music and my life were great, but very fuzzy on the details, the drugs were plentiful.
