i bought one and was wondering. when it tells you
you're minutely fertile
moderately fertile
and
very fertile
is it telling u that based on the hormones it notices (and hence, if one month u do not ovulate, it will show "no ovulation"?
or does it tell u when it "thinks" you should be ovulating???

It measures the hormones estrogen and lh in your urine and gives you a reading based on the hormones. It is possible for your body to try to ovulate and the hormones will rise and you may get a moderately fertile reading but if you don't actually ovulate you probably won't see the very fertile egg symbol.
