So far, the father is RETARDED. If he thinks whitey owes him something, he better look again. I am part American Indian and according to his terms Whitey and Blacky owe me everything. But I am not like that. I see everyone as individuals who present themselves as they are. Color is not an issue until you make it one.

I haven't seen a 200 year old slave, let alone a 600 year old slave. "Get over it", as Judge Judy says. It becomes a problem when you make it a problem. If you identify a problem and are aware of it, do something about it, don't point fingers and blame others.

If you are black and feel that whites are a problem with you progressing in your own life, don't cry about it, call them on it and act. They'll get in trouble. If you are clean, you will shine. If you fall, get back up. No matter what color.

That episode really pişşed me off. If a white person said one fraction of what the black guy said on TV, he'd be a "white racist". Not "allowed" to be proud to be white.

You know what.... The big companies that bought some of that guy's town.... hmm... Black or not, big companies only see money, they don't see color, and if you happen to be black, poor or white and sell your community, that's your own fault. You sell yourself out for a few bucks. Blame yourself.

I agree, I believe in blk power and being proud of where you come from, but I think these ppl were taking it too far. What was up with the guy saying "I'm prejudice for black people" ? In the true sense of the word, his statement doesn't even make sense and don't even get me started on the reparations thing.
