Yes he did. At that time, Glen was a studio guitarist with Capital records. He replaced the leader Brian Wilson during a 1964 tour. He had to quickly train himself to sing the high parts. In fact, the very first show when he played with the band, he had to borrow a pair of pants from Al Jardine who was shorter than Glen. Glen was later replaced by Bruce Johnston who is now a permanent member of the current "Beach Boys."

Actually he did. He was a full-fledged member of The Beach Boys, filling in for an ailing Brian Wilson on tour in 1964 and 1965 and he also played on the Pet Sounds album.

Absolutely. He was asked to join them on the road when Brian Wilson did not want to tour anymore. Glen was an accomplished studio musician at the time. I believe he spent 2 years with the Beach Boys before he decided to go on his own.
