I am not happy in the sense that I rejoice in their troubles because I know that when it is all over I probably will be there to help pick them back up and help them learn from what happened. I have had to work under some real strange people and spiteful people but even after all the grief that they have caused I still will greet them in the street and call them to give them important information. I don't join them in social activities but I feel if I treat them with dignity then maybe they will learn from that.

Haha, at first yes, definitely, but after a short while I end up feeling sorry for them...until they do something wrong to me again which makes me lose all sympathy, but you know, I think you shouldn't get happy over things like that, but hell, you do, can't help it.

well, i would first ask, how well do I know this person?
then, was I responsible or have I contributed to the stress and suffering?
did they tell me themselves or did I catch it 5th hand?
then I would consider how much do they deserve it, what did they do?
mostly if I don't like somebody, they must be a REALLY BAD PERSON, I forgive really easily mostly

no, thats terrible, even if they murder some one close to me i cant stand seeing other ppl in pain no matter wot they have done.
( i do think that if they did some thing bad they should go stand in a corner for an eternity instead of being automatically killed)

Hmmmm.... I can't remember a time when that has happened .. but I suppose there might be a little bit of guilty pleasure involved. Although it would not be something I would be proud of ... if I did feel like that. Good Luck ! :)

i'd have to say that it depends... if they are seriously hurt or in real emotional trouble then that's not funny at all...
BUT.... who doesnt occasionally take pleasure in other's pain? i mean...who doesnt chuckle when someone slips on a banana peel?

No it does not. Just because you don't like someone does not mean you necessarily wish them ill. Hopefully one should just wish they change for the better.
