first of all, who or what is stranded ?
you or the island?
since you have Internet access and can type, i am not very worried about you!
it's the island i worry about
i doubt there are any emergency procedures put in place in case of stranded islands!
email the united nations ,they could help, you never know!
they do not segregate!
i must say it is a sad thing that the world has chosen to totally ignore the possibility of stranded islands
that's very serious and negligent
i applaud you for bringing the possibility to light!

Well, I'm assuming this is hypothetical because you're on a computer right now. And I don't know what type of island you are on. So I am going to say to use something like tree sap and compress it really type so it will explode to make a sort of like emergency flare, or make a fire with black smoke as a signal like with wood and berries. Or you can also make something explode if you are on an island with certain minerals.And if you have friends that you talk to regularly, they will probably know that you are lost somewhere and will call a search party. I spent a lot of time researching this answer so I hope you like it!

flag down a plane or make a fire with twigs to signal....also write HELP big in the sand.....BIG....like you can't see it close up....cuz its sooo zoomed....so the planes can see it...or rough it like giligan's island...
