My 8th grade science project was testing different shampoos to determine which was best. I got some kit that helped me define the project and do the various tests (like lather production, viscosity, solid matter, etc). In college, I made cold cream in chemistry class. Those are pretty girly! I bet if you do some web searches, you could find something along these lines!

Good luck! :)

How to end wrinkles in the skin. If you can discover the answer through your science project, you will become a billionaire!

Don't demean "girlie" subjects, guys. You secretly want to know the answer too! Girlie subjects - beauty, weight loss, decorating - are a HUGE industry.

If you want girlie... Not to sound gross but something about the absorbency of pads or tampons. Maybe something like which brand is more absorbent or which one last longer. Of course, you would use water to do the tests. Like that commercial about the diapers where they poke a hole in the balloon to prove that the diaper is absorbent. Or are the thin pads as absorbent as the thick ones.
