Unfortunately the financial aid that most American students recieve from the government is not available to international students, and many American scholarships are restricted to US citizens. You wil probably have the most success searching specifically for scholarships meant for international students. Many individual schools will also award merit based scholarships to either domestic or international students (scholarships awarded for outstanding academic success), but most do not cover the full cost of attendance.

Running a google search on something like "scholarships for international students" will produce a long list of resources that you can start with. I would highly suggest finding some American schools that you are interested (www.princetonreview.com is a great resource), and then contacting their financial aid office with questions about funding your education at their institution specifically. Different schools may have very different scholarship opportunities for you, so it is a good idea to get in touch with as many as possible. The chances of you being able to cover the entire cost of your education with grants and scholarships is pretty slim, as even most American students are in debt for a few years after graduation. However, there may be other opportunities (such as education loans) available so it is worth calling around and trying.

Here is a great directory for US and international scholarship sites: http://www.macquil.com/scholarships.php
I hope you find a good scholarship. Pass it on to some of your friends :)
