It seems that you are having an encounter with the good old guilts. While it may seem that you are having bad luck since then, it is entirely possible that it is only in your guilty mind. I would advise against telling your mom unless she has asked about the money or already knows since that would break the trust she has with you. Sometimes it is better to keep a small secret like that and never mention it to keep the relationship on the grounds that it is on now. I would recommend putting back twice the amount of what you took (to assauge the conscience) and never doing it again. If this seems to be an ongoing problem I would recommend speaking to her about it (of course apologizing) and seeing if perhaps you could see a counsellor for the problem. Good Luck

Yes you should give it back! If someone stole something from you would you want it back? You need to come clean with your mom about what you did. The fact that you are only considering giving it back because you've had bad luck shows that you have no remorse for what you did and that makes you a true looser.

You should be ashamed of yourself, you need to go to your mother and tell her about it and tell her that you won't do it again and that you are sorry and give her the money back and make her dinner or take her out to a movie and always be true if you don't have it next time try asking her and let her know that you will pay her back if she loans it to you.

I would definatley tell her and maybe you could keep it but if you have bad luck that may just be you maybe overreacting because you feel guilty for stealing it from her purse.

Well, knowing that u dont want to get caught, it would be better to replace it when no one is looking, therefore no one gets on trouble.Then im pretty sure you will feel better. Guilt is something that everyone has, its better to do the right thing

I did that before and I felt bad to, you should talk to
her about it, that's what I did, my mom was mad but at
the same time respected me being honest to her.
