I say yeah. Everything tends to get blamed on Bush. EVERYTHING. Bush doesn't run the whole country and people need to realize that. he isn't the best president but he isn't the worst either. Try looking at the WHOLE government before blaming it on one person.

Bush is the scapegoat to the planet - better to blame one man than think of solutions.
Bush has been blamed for causing wars, hurricanes, global warming, El Nino, CIA screw ups, etc.....at times his opponents make him seem to be more powerful than God.
Facts-
The weather is controlled by no man. Wars have to authorized by Congress.

Of course he is, if you yanks really held him soley responsible for all of America's wrong doings someone would have assassinated him by now. There's corruption and greed at every level of a hierarchy, but for some reason, the top dog is always the one that carries the torch. It's impossible to represent the most culturally diverse country in the world without someone being pissed, and of course, if the minority is pissed, then the media will do a damn good job of making you think its the majority. Think about it, say you're a middle class man, with his health, the right to vote, a nice front lawn, and none of your relatives are in Iraq, what problem do you have with Bush?

ok people need to get a clue . The president can make a lot of things happen make a lot of choices and decisions
ALL of which can be blocked by conrgess . the presidetns power is SEVERLY limited due to checks and balances and all these people that think the preseident is some kind of dictatorial position need to get a clue
the president cannot do 90% of the stuff people accuse bush of because he doesnt have the power to do so

He is only blamed for the many many things he has screwed up
and also for trying to wreck the constitution. Saying EVERYTHING gets blamed on Bush is nothing but hyperbole.
PS You have to be pretty dim to think anyone is blaming Bush for that Hurricane, they are rightly blaming him for his RESPONSE to the hurricane.

In a way, I suppose he is a scapegoat.. however, taking away all the things that are probably not his fault??? There are still many, many that are. His dishonestly with the American people being the biggest sin. Don't worry, he is not blameless but then neither are any in his little tight knit group..
