I have a Dell Insiron E1405 and a Sanyo T.V. with the regular cable input and a bunch of RCA inputs (yellow, red and white) on the back. What cables should I use?

Usually the yellow one is for video, but if you have an S-video connection on your laptop use that one. It'll give you a better resolution. If your TV doesn't have S-video you can get a patch cord.

I do not understand why you need to hook up a laptop to a tv when you already have the monitor of the laptop.
I fyou are trying to show a DVD over the TV screen, you can find a usb cable that hooks up to the s-video of your tv (rca), but be careful about compatible power sources.

It's really going to be the capability of the computer. Usually a video card with TV out on your computer will work (I bleieve it's yellow). I guess you can always try getting a PCM-CIA TV out card or video card....

If you didn't order the upgraded TV out card, you probably won't be able to connect.
