I have suspicions that my ex is hacking into my email. He slipped up today and told me things that only one other person knew of, and that person and I only communicate through email. My ex and my friend do not know one another either, and live 2 hours apart. So, how can I catch him in the act?

Well... First, change your password to your e-mail (duh!). If that doesn't work, then check if you have any unwanted programs installed on your pc (keyloggers, bit bumpers, etc.) by going to control panel and clicking 'add/remove programs'. Find any program that you don't want anymore and just delete it.. simple...
If that doesn't work, then e-mail your e-mail provider to give you a full report on who's accessing your e-mail... then look them up at whatismeip.com

yup chage your password, but if he is smart he would know how to crack the pw so make it long so it wont be as easy to crack, then i would on download.com and look for a program that monitors your pc usage i once had one that took pictures of my screen every 30 secs and it would showing what people were doing on pc and the good thing about them is that they are not a noticable when running becuase it dosent load in your bottom right time box where usahlly current running programs are shown as a icon. This should help good luck

As a mom of two women and growing up with an really nosy mom who went by each little thing that I owned, i visit sympathize with you. i keep in mind that you opt for your privateness and also you deserve it. I in no way went by my women issues except after I suspected drug use, and that became in reality on some activities. Is your mom a nosy man or woman? have you ever executed some thing to make your mom suspicious of your movements? My perfect suggestion? Confront your mom in an really non confrontational tone and way. Say some thing like "mom, i wish that you do not imagine that i'm doing issues that can make you dissapointed in me, because, i keep in mind that you've been attempting to study my digital mail" wait on your mom to respond to.......who's responsive to, if she is only a undeniable nosy mom, this can placed a provide as a lot because it. sturdy success.

If you have Yahoo mail, it's not too difficult to do. Get gmail, Google's extra secure email. It's by invitation only. You would then have to invite your friend to join. He would not know anything about it, unless the friend told him.
