I know having enough lubracation isn't the problem but sometimes it is almost unbearable pain even after 20 or 30 minutes. It is just really frustrating because when the mood is right and we want to, I usually can't. What could be some alternatives?

Go to the doctor. A couple years ago, my wife experienced exactly these symptoms (pain after a few minutes of intercourse, and too much residual soreness to even consider it again for two or three days).

It turns out it was a bacterial infection. We thought it was yeast infection (it wasn't), we thought it was lubrication (it wasn't), we finally went to the doctor. They took some tests and sure enough, there was a bacterial infection.

A course of antibiotics cleared her up in less than a week, after months of trying home remedies and over-the-counter stuff. Get it taken care of now and save yourself the misery!

I had pain with sex for a while, and it turned out to be the result of endometriosis. I don't think that's your problem, but there are a lot of things it could be. It could even be an issue with your natural size or your partner's. Do you get sore after a gynecological exam? You should talk to your doctor about it, and make sure you feel that the issue has been adequately addressed!

ok when you say 20-30 minutes do you mean that is how long the sex lasts? that might be the problem, even when lubricated if it lasts to long it may tear you or you could start to chafe and it can be very uncomfortable. Another thing is your age... if you are still really young that could be thr problem as well, either way you may want to go to a doctor about it...

There is nothing wrong with you. You don't need to see a doctor. That is just how you are, everyone is different.
