you should not worry about what anyone else thinks of your baby name. if you like the name jonas then name your baby. remember people can only hate on you if you let them.

You can name your baby after your big toe, if you want to. I'm always against passing down names, though. Names are an important part of your identity, and unless you'll be inheriting a small kingdom at some point in your life, your name should be unique.

I'll suggest you avoid calling "JONAS" because the pronunciations quite similar to yours. Thus, is not appropriate to call your baby "JONAS".

Of course you can, but I wouldn't. My name is Kara, and although I love the name Sara, I can't bring myself to name my baby Sara. It is just to much alike. But that's just me.
