Yes you have to make it worth living duly understanding the meaning of it. What is life ?

Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

That's a question whose answer will differ from person to person. Some people really enjoy life, some absolutely hate it. It's completely subjective. If the good outweighs the bad, or at least matches it, then yes, life is worth living.

I find that attitude is the determining factor. I might be in a lot of physical pain, but hey -- alcohol helps take it away, and I happen to love the taste of beer. So in that sense the pain is even worth going through to get to the beer at the end of the tunnel. I might be as poor as a person can be without actually living on the streets, but I like the stuff that I have and I like the people I hang out with. I might be cold, but cold people tend to hug more, and I love hugs. It's all about perception.

I am certain we have all had our fair share of heartache, pain and suffering, some I know more than others, but all relative.

Is life worth living? Absolutley and to the fullest. Our lives are what we make of them. Our true happiness come from within. We can not depend on others to bring us happiness or create happiness in our world. But by the same token we can not allow others to bring us down (though I know this is hard).
We must remember that for some being the Captain of the Bring Down Team is what makes them tick. These are folks we need to weed out of our lives.
No one ever said life would be easy, they just said it would be worth it.

Life is what you make of it. If you choose to dwell on pain, heartache and suffering, that is what you will get. If you view difficulty as an opportunity to learn something for self improvement, then you will definately have a better life. Your life is all about your choices and perceptions. We are dead a lot longer than we'll ever be alive. You might as well choose to enjoy living.

When the quality of life is likely to improve through one's action, and one has a dream to persue, then yes.
So, having said that, one needs to reflect on the pain, heartache and suffering, assess what one can take responsibility for the resolution, act to resolve them and go for one's yet to fulfilled dream. If not, why continue with the hell one goes through?

Live and make the world a better place then one came into, whatever better may be meaningful to one.

Where there is life, there is hope. Hope for joy to follow dispair, hope for love to follow heartache, hope for beauty and a chocolate sunday with a cherry on top after a diet. It's worth sticking around just to see what the next turn of the corner brings.

Sometimes I don't know. The reason I could say that life if worth living is my kids. I love to come home and see the smile on my 4 year olds face, love the hugs I get, the pictures they draw. Love is the only reason life is worth living.

Life includes joy and sadness, laughter and pain.

Perhaps one way to answer your question is to ask "are you happy? are you content?".

What makes us content or happy? A far wiser man than me (Epicuris) suggested that if we had the following we would be content :

* a purpose in life, an examined life
* significant relationships (friends)
* sufficient resources to survive.

If can achieve these three things, purpose, relationships, and resources, this life may well be worth living.

I would add one aspect that Epicuris, as great as he was, left out. To have an understanding and belief in God brings a more certain peace in all the events of life.

I hope this helps..

Humans r verry adaptable...and in the way life is , we usually get used to eat all the **** arround the cherry in the top.... even if I would have to live alone in the middle of the sea for the rest of my life I would prefer this rather than death.Pain , sufferings r some eperiences as life itself is....it's a nice experience being alive!
