Has reality ever seemed unreal to you?

Question

Yes, that happens to me sometimes...
Sometimes I ask myself, "Is this really real? Is this happening to me? What the....?"
Am I making sense here?

Sometimes I wonder. I might not be living in a real world but a simulated one. All the people I know could be paid actors. Or maybe I'm floating in a test tube somewhere with electrodes planted in my brain. Or I could be brainwashed. Every wierd thing I've ever seen could be a glitch in the program. When people ask about reality I wonder if they were put there to make me recondiser my doubts or shrug it off. Who knows. I could just be programmed to say this to you so you don't agree with me.

But I don't really believe that. :)

Yes. During those times when something rare happens, you might almost thing you're dreaming or something. Or... I sometimes have these periods of time where I feel like I'm in a dream, and that time is flowing by and that everything around me is moving as I stand still.

Just crazy thoughts from my brain. =P

Joshms, i'm sorry your existence became touched like that , ODs are tragic, and continually see so unnecessary. there's a holding in AA , besides the undeniable fact that, that would want to or gained't make experience to you - "they died that others might want to stay", and that holding has continually helped me stay sparkling and sober after I actually have lost pals and pals to drugs or alcohol. per chance you'll come across slightly convenience in that. I actually have a touch checkered previous, and performance lost too many pals in unusual and unhappy situations, besides the undeniable fact that the only which looks the most unreal to me began after I got here homestead to confirm my mom and father from the position I worked out of state, and my mom gave me an obituary to study. It became for one in all my dearest pals from severe college and after, and it stated that he had died even as a motor vehicle hit his bike became (it became a Harley - that became the gang I ran with at one time). i became devastated. you're making sense. on occasion something so shocking or awful happens that i'm almost dumbfounded. i wonder if it's a bad dream or almost as if i'm watching something happen in slow motion to someone else. it seems almost surreal. unfortunately, i haven't had a lot of good experiences have this effect on me, lol.

Yeah......I thought I was in reality, but then one event all of a sudden took me out of the "fog". Everything seemed real to me.

yeah... wen my cousin committed suicide i couldnt believe such a thing would happen but it did

i agree with kakikeeno or wutever there name was like wen i am feeling in a really good mood i feel like i froze in time and everything else is just passing on slowly... i love the feeling but rarely get it
