No! Drugs and alcohol CANNOT "CAUSE" homosexuality.
Do not be naive. His friend is and always will be homosexual.

Why don't we look at this question from another perspective?
Can drugs and alcohol cause heterosexuality?
My fiance' is a recovering alcoholic and said drugs and alcohol caused one of his friends to become heterosexual. He told me that now that he no longer drinks that he is no longer a heterosexual. The friend has no use for men; never dated; no relationships and now (counsels) troubled youth. Am I being far too suspicious?
Does this question sound abit discriminative to you?

Drugs and alcohol are known to lower inhibitions, so be suspicious. Most likely, the friend is gay and just allows alcohol to take the blame for something that he doesn't want to admit to.

your pal is an fool the only element alcohol and medicines do to your toddler is reason it scientific harm which contain FAS or it comes out addicted to heroin, crack, cocaine, meth, and so on... on no account drink or use during pregnancy. yet this won't verify if your toddler is going to alter into gay. you're born the two immediately or gay...what you do for the duration of the being pregnant does not impression that area of your character. Homosexuality isn't a ailment or genetic affliction!

While drugs and/or alcohol do not cause homosexuality, they may remove some inhibitions a user may have about experimenting.

That's idiotic. Nothing can "cause" homosexuality. I think your fiance is probably a self-loathing closet homosexual.
Drugs and alcohol can lower inhibitions, making one more likely to act on sexual impulses (whether heterosexual or homosexual.)

Drugs and alcohol may have lowered his inhibitions bringing him out of his state of latency. But they do not cause homosexuality.

No they don't but the sad truth is that drugs and alcohol are used by gays and lesbians and is the second leading cause of death for them.

Drugs and alcohol can lead to homosexual BEHAVIOR, just like it can lead to criminal behavior or other acts that a person would not do when sober. But they cannot change a person's sexual orientation. You are what you are - gay, straight or bi.
