The toughest form of science, because one can't do significant experiments on people the way one would on material objects; one can only draw conclusions from observation, which is a much slower and less conclusive process.
While I thus take the conclusions of psychologists with a grain of salt, I deeply respect the attempt to apply scientific analysis to the human mind, and I know that real knowledge is being gained over time.
