I can hear what people are saying, but it won't pick up what i'm saying. I've tried changing the settings, using a voice mask, unpluging it and pluging it back in, changing the volume, everything i can think of. (first started with Halo 2) Please, serious answers. (No "I like the Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"s)

Maybe your mic is muted. Did you change the switch so that it is not muted? Left = muted, right = not muted. Otherwise I can't really help you. You need a replacement.

Yeah it does sound like its muted, possibly .. the mic is infact broken.
But as for xbox and 360 headsets, i had a generic xbox madcatz headset that worked fine with 360. Tends to be case by case, which brand ect.

it doesnt work if u hav axbox headset u hav 2 get a 360 1
