Go to a good old fashioned barber and ask him. Barbers used to shave men as well as cut hair. He will have been trained in how shaving should be properly done and can give you hints on how best to avoid causing problems like pimples and rashes.

Don't shave against the hair, that irritates the skin. Instead shave the other way. Also use skin sensitive shaving cream and wet your face before hand. I usually do it after showering because the hair shaves off easier with less force due to the hair and skin being moist, thus causing less irritation. Of course those pimples could be in-grown hairs, which is common among African Americans, and there's not much you can do about that besides not shaving all the way to the skin. If you naturally have acne, there's not much you can do about that either. I had acne at your age and shaving always made it worse, unless you don't shave to the skin. Anyway, good luck man.

Young man, please allow me to completely answer your question. The first thing you do is shower- never shave with a dirty face. A hot shower will remove dirt and grime from your face and force your whiskers to stand up for a closer shave. After showering, splash as hot of water as you can stand over the entire area where you will shave- THIS IS CRITICAL. An important aspect of shaving if for your face to be hydrated. Immediately massage the shave cream over the area to be shaved (the shave cream serves to keep the face hydrated). Then use a sharp Gillette Fusion razor and always put it under hot water before shaving. Shave with the grain of the hair while making sure the area to be shaved is hydrated. Once you understand the basics of a close shave you will catch on.

Use hot water, shaving cream/foam, and a fresh razor.
Splash lots and lots of HOT water on your face, then splash more hot water on it. This opens the pores up and softens the hairs.
Rub the shaving foam into your skin thoroughly. Then move the razor across your beard in downward strokes only - don't move the razor up - this gives you a rash. Don't press on the razor, just move it gently across your skin.
When you've finished, wash your face with really, really cold water, the colder the better. This closes the pores and stops bacteria getting into the pores - this is what is giving you the pimples. (Dirt and junk is getting into your pores making you break out in little pimples.)
Not sure about the white patches on your skin. See what happens after doing the above.

look for shaving cream for sensitive skin. Use 3 or 4 blade razors, make sure they are not dull, and they are clean. A good after shave for sensitive skin. and noxima for your pimples.

I would like to suggest you to use Alloy before shave and shave gel. These 2 products make shaving easier and comfortable without feeling too much irritation and bleeding.

Just use an electric razor, it doesn't scratch your face. I just started shaving last year and the first time I did I sliced my lip open.

Are you using an electric shaver? If not, try one. If you are using a blade, try Alveno shaving gel for sensitive skin. It made a difference for my son.

properly.. you're able to no longer try this... every time your hair grows in once you shave, it grows out thicker... etc till its very thick! in case you desire to proceed taking hair out of your face, i desire to advise you wax your face as a replace of shaving it! you're able to tell your mom and dad approximately this while you're specific they are going to evaluate taking you to laser cures, which will preclude your hair from transforming into and so long to daddy's razors!!
